THE FIRST YEAR
In the first year for the company, 12 trucks are in operation. The first logo is designed.
GROWTH AND EXPANSION
During these early years, Transam Carriers grows to 20 trucks. Operations are expanded to the east coast, including the New England states.
OFFICE IN BRADWICK
The company moves to a 3,000 square foot office in Bradwick. The new property has a garage operation and adjacent yard to the office. The staff now includes three working in dispatch, one in accounting, one in safety, and one mechanic.
LOGO UPDATE
This year the company has 18 trucks in operation. A new logo is designed, a wing emblem with a prominent bison in the center.
NEW LOCATION, NEW POSSIBILITIES

Operations move to the Keele location during February and March. The company has now expanded to 6,000 square feet of office space, an 80,000 square foot warehouse, and a 10,000 garage operation. There are approximately 20 employees, including 3 mechanics. The company has now grown to be a 50 truck operation.
10 YEARS IN BUSINESS
Transam Carriers celebrates 10 years in business.
MOVE TO DONEY CRESCENT

The constantly growing company again changes location, this time to 205 Doney Crescent in Concord. The company is now a 90 truck operation with 40 staff and 3 mechanics. The new location has a cross-dock facility and a larger yard to accommodate the equipment needed to meet the company’s rapid growth.
AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS
The company receives the award at the Toronto Regional Truck Driving Championships. James Taylor takes home Rookie of the Year for Transam Carriers.
COMPANY'S STYLE UPDATE
The logo is updated again to a more modern Bison head with a yellow background and a new font for Transam Carriers. Operations expand to 110 trucks.
A new slogan is “Here For the Long Haul”.
12 YEARS = 12 RULES OF SUCCESS
The company celebrates 12 years in business. Each month, Transam Carriers focuses on remembering one of their twelve rules for the success and spirit of Transam Carriers. The rules are: Honesty, Equality, Reliability, Responsibility, Stability, Respect, Comfort, Flexibility, Safety, Balance, Wellness, and Team.
A service shop is added.
By mid-year, the fleet officially expands to 120 vehicles.
THE FLEET UPGRADE
The company updates the fleet with 30 new Volvo VNL-760 trucks and 80 dry van trailers decorated with new decals design.
VNL 860 JOINS THE FLEET
15 new Volvo VNL 860 units added to the fleet. Each unit features a 77-inch sleeper cab designed for extended hauls, equipped with upgraded efficiency and safety systems.
